Kashyam refers to a water decoction or water extract of one herb or a group of herbs. It is also called Kwath, Kashai, Khada in other parts of the country. It is made up of 05 to 07 different ingredients mainly Turmeric powder, Black peppers, Coriander powder etc.
It should be boiled with only milk or half milk and half water. Sugar or Jaggery can be used to enhance the taste. Two times a day gives the best possible result.
